Something about Foam

13th October 2014

Foam is one of those materials that holds a unique interest to me for its simplistic beauty in its raw form, but also in the many ways that it can take on a entirely different form.

Designers are also seeing the beauty in its mundaneness as we are seeing it appear in lots of new and interesting ways notably from Federica Tedeschi who used it as inspiration for her print and woven textiles to photographers and stylists who are manipulating it for its simple form and colour.

Inspiring for colour the pastel tones and odd yellow is fresh and enticing.

About

I use this blog as a notebook of inspirations – I post things I see and like and thoughts of mine. I don't revolve around a singular topic and neither does this blog. Everything and anything is relevant
